It’s Spring!!!! It’s warming up and flowers are blooming! Just like our animal friends its time to stop hibernating, get out and enjoy the world! Here are some things to do in springtime.

Plant a garden- It’s time to beautify your outside. I love planting flowers in colorful pots. I someday hope to plant a herb garden for my family to enjoy in cooking.
Plan a get-away- Gone are the days of school spring break time but still getting away for a few days can be good for the soul.

Go see the cherry blossoms- The beautiful cherry blossoms are in bloom and are beautiful. Absolutely one of my favorite things.
Time to picnic- I love this even if you don’t pack sandwiches you can still get fast food or takeout to your favorite spot.
Coffee date outside- There is nothing better than being outside and consuming your favorite beverage… its simply a must do. Great way to fill a free couple hours.
Walk on the beach- The beach is my favorite place to be. Even if its too cold to wade in the ocean for me. I go to watch the waves and hopefully a sunset.
Fly a kite- Get your Mary Poppins on and bring family or friends along. Close the night with a movie night.
Childhood nostalgic fun time – Even if you don’t have kids you can still enjoy outside chalk drawing, bubble play and climbing a tree.
Eat spring fruits and veggies- Some of my favorites include rhubarb, strawberries, artichokes, leeks, spring onions, radishes, baby carrots, cherries and morels

Eat Easter candy- I love Easter candy! Peeps! Cadbury Eggs… oh be still my waist line! I also buy a bunch after the holiday to reward sugar cravings at half off.
Pick fresh flowers- I love picking flowers bringing them in and arranging them for a bit of nature inside. I open the windows on good days to enjoy the good weather.
Go to a farmers market- Do a Google search and support some local goodness.
Spring cleaning- This I put last because I hate cleaning but spring cleaning is good for you. In with the old. Donate things you no longer use and freshen up your house for springtime get-togethers.
